Blindspotting x Oaklandish Collection

It's more than a movie, more than a shirt — it's a movement, and we're spreading Town love throughout the land with these dope designs in collaboration with Blindspotting! Our Blindspotting x Oaklandish Collection is inspired by the movie Blindspotting featuring Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal. Longtime friends and collaborators, Diggs and Casal co-wrote and star in this timely and wildly entertaining story about friendship and the intersection of race and class set against the backdrop of Oakland.

Bursting with energy, style, and humor, and infused with the spirit of rap, hip hop, and spoken word, Blindspotting, boldly directed by Carlos López Estrada in his feature film debut, is a provocative hometown love letter that glistens with humanity. Blindspotting opens in select cities on July 20 (everywhere July 27).

Since spoken word was such an inspiration to the spirit of the film, proceeds from the sales of this collection will be donated to Youth Speaks, a nationally known but locally grown global movement which inspires young people to write and perform on stage through spoken word performances. 

Youth Speaks exists to shift the perception of young people by combating illiteracy, alienation, and silence, creating a global movement of brave new voices bringing the noise from the margins to the core. Youth Speaks believes that the power, insight, creativity, and passion of young people can change the world.
